And Her World Came Crashing Down

I never thought I would see the day that the two promises
made to me by the man I love would be blatantly broken.
And her world came crashing down.... As I watched him begin
to break this promise, I tried stopping him as I had
before. He stopped me and continued on with his
violation. I looked at him, thunderstruck by his utter
lack of respect for the promises he made unto me. Before I
knew what I was doing, I rushed away from him,
saying "'bye". Knowing this "good bye" had to be my last.
No matter how much my heart yearned for him, I realized I
had lost him for forevermore. How does one live on? Where
to begin. Though this love was star-crossed and ill-fated
from the start, I never wanted it to end. It then became
an unrequited love. Now...it is nothing but a painful
memory. I can only hope I will be able to wake from this
nightmare. This nightmare where people continue to
die...this nightmare in which I am alone....this nightmare
in which this love was destroyed. Is it possible to wake
from such a dreadful nightmare? One can only hope........
