Have you thought

HAVE YOU THOUGHT

--me

Have you thought in silence without the extemporaneous
influences of fellow man, riddled each rime of existance into a
palpable and contemplateable form within your mind? If no,
then you have not lived, young apprentice. Each valley you cross and
each mountain you climb must be subjected to the qualitative analysis
and judgement of yourself to derive satisfaction from the journey.
Nay, if not, you are blind.
We have seen the children come springfully from the meadow,
contemplated their innosence, and left unaffected. Such is the way
of the world. But we cannot approach the universal truths of life as
children, as many a fundamentalist may boastfully claim.
Rather, should we not use this gift of reason, however flawed it may
be by societal greed, and use this reason for the purpos of deriving
the secrets of creation? Lay not in awe, butunderstand. And yet,
the procession of zealous ignorants progress.

We are no longer children to the universe. We are children
of the universe, and thedifference is vast. We no longer believe the
sun rotates around our planet, we photograph it 93 million miles
away, a fixed object by any relative account of earth’s. The Earth
is no longer a vast sheet; we have photograped it, seen it from a
bird’s eye’s view, in space, and even tred on the one satellite our
planet has, luna, our moon. And yet...we are children still in this
universe, but no longer children to it; rather blossoming adolescents
on the verge of a new breakthrough in every moment, but we remain so
young, so inexperienced.

We see black holes and quasars, and can only speculate on
their composition, properties--and in the case of black holes:
physical properties as a whole. But we have not traversed these
vastly distant enigmas. They are the spectacles beyond the horizon
of our path, only visible through the strongest telescopes,
providing us proof of their existances.

Lead the chant of the explorer:

WE CRY INTO OBLIVION
WE FADE INTO INFINITY
LOST IN INEQUALITY
DRIVEN BY SPIRITUALITY
