I'm a girl, not a band!!!
"I found myself in Paris..."
Probably my favorite movie, even more favorite than Lara
Croft, is the new version of Sabrina. Starring Julia
Ormond, Harrison Ford, and Greg Kinnear. It's the story of
the rich family (Ford and Kinnear are brothers) and the
love of the chauffer's daughter.
What really gets me is that she spends time in Paris.
There's a line in the movie where Ormond gets advice. It's
probably the best advice in the world. So, I'm going to
share it with you. "You seem to be embarassed about being
alone. But alone is only the beginning. You go up from
there. Revel in it."
I want to go to Paris. Ormond's character says that she
found herself in Paris. I think of this movie often. I
watch it often. I cry everytime. And it reminds me that I
will only go up from here. And that is good.
