A new job

I applied yesterday for a sales position at Lane Bryant. As
far as I know, I've got the job...as far as my references
go smoothly. That will be nice to get out of the house,
make some extra cash, and be around adults for a change. I
just hope I don't start missing my kids and quit.

It's just rediculous that I'm so torn between this, but I
have to put this into perspective that we could always use
the extra cash since we need to start thinking of a house.
Not to mention the fact that I'd like to continue my
education eventually. So, if I'm lucky, I'll get this job
and make myself better because of it. It'd only be part
time, but that's better than nothing. I just hope Dave
would be able to handle it as well as the kids. Abbey is
really young to be put into someone else's care, but we're
talking about my mother-in-law and for only a few hours a
day, 3-4 days a week. That doesn't sound so bad when I
think about it. On top of all that, I'd get 40% off my
clothes there and there's a cute $80 jacket I've got my eye
on there.

On a more personal side, Dave and i have to hold off on sex
a while. I guess we got back into the swing of things too
soon. He's just too big and he ended up tearing me so now I
have to worry about this painful tear and possible
hemorrhaging. I hope he doesn't feel guilty about it, but
knowing him he does.

We were supposed to go to the State Fair Sunday but we got
into a little bit of a fight because he was in a bad mood
and was being mean in general and started to pick on Alex.
So I told him I was going to the fair without him, loaded
up the kids, and went to my mom's house for the day. We
came home about 11p.m. and he'd written a letter of apology
for me and was waiting up for us. He was really sorry and
it turned out he went to the fair by himself in order to
find us.

I thought that was kind of funny...picturing him walking
around by himself at the state fair. I kind of felt sorry
for him at the same time, but he did deserve it and then
the old saying of "what goes around comes around" kicked in
when he had to sit at the side of the road for an hour when
his van overheated on the way back home. Apparently he
learned his lesson, he's been really nice, affectionate,
and caring the past two nights now. I hope this lasts for a
while.

Well, I guess I should go now.
