DAILY FEATURES
DINNER: Meat loaf, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, sliced
cucumbers, French bread and iced tea.
WHAT'S IN JOHN'S LUNCHBOX: Peppered roast beef sandwich
with mustard, horseradish,thinly sliced sweet onion, and
slivered green pepper; ham and provolone cheese sandwich
with mustard, slivered green pepper and sliced black olives;
a piece of apple pie; chocolate chip cookies; two slices of
lightly buttered banana bread; a plum, a banana and a
nectarine; containers of iced tea, lemonade and orange
juice.
QUILTING: Finished Pumpkins and Poptart quilt top and began

WHAT I'M GRATEFUL FOR: Finding the perfect fabrics for my
quilt
READING: Short stories in very old Alfred Hitchcock and
Ellery Queen magazines
WEATHER: Warm and clear with highs in the lower 70s
SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW: Chores and gardening; John goes to
Junction City to pick up more firewood
