Marriage, Education, & other Institutions (2)

Education, Son of a bitch. Go to school people! Please
get a university degree. Women get the highest paying
jobs, and AFrican AMericans become presidents. Personally
I don't care about the laments of white people
saying "minorities get all the scholarships" Good! I
sure as fuck don't need it and I doubt you do either. I
say as long as the mean of educated persons rises in the
populatoin "m saying hell yeah. Everyone has the ability
to learn, of course it comes easier to some, but everyone
can do it. Trust me, you need it as much as the next
person. You can't have enough educatoin. Of course, I
agree with Juliann that the simple attribute of confidence
gets you anywhere, but there's a difference between
confidence and intelligence. INtelligence is ocmpletely
subjective. I may think someone is extremely intelligent
and you may think he is stupid. Yet, there are
intellectuals, those who no matter how we subjectively
perceive them we must concede they have at least some
brains (a.k.a einstein, shakespeare, etc.). There's the
difference between intelligent/intellectual, roughly the
boundary of subjective/objectiveness. HOw do you cross
the boundary? Shit, beats me. Try educatoin confidence
failing learning from y our failing = Intellectual.
Who knows. Just go to school people. YOu'll appreciate
it later. Of course, maybe you're just too fucking smart
and don't finish school due to this. Well, you're better
off than I cos I need a lot of other people's ideas poured
into my head to form my own ideas. My hat is off to you
privileged few.
REligion, leave it the fuck alone, oh wait don't, oh wait
do. Religion good or bad. Let me put it this way.
REligion is a newborn baby innately neutral to societal
influence. WE shape it to our will. WE can shape it as
we deem fit, why do you think there are so many forms of
religion/God? Which onew is right? It's like trying to
determine if a 2 yr. old is innately good or bad. Alas it
is difficult. According to most poeple of intellectual
mirth, religion is a substitute, God a substitute for a
patriachal fatherly figure. And in my speculatoin the
virgin mary is the ideal mother, as who likes to think
their mother engaged in sexual conduct to conceive them?
That's one lightning bolt for Nick. Som uch wrong has
been propogated in the name of holiness, and as we look
back on past events it is only logical that we fear one
omnipotent godly ruler (a la Hitler). Everyone from smelly
hippies to over-privileged yuppies discredit, insult,
bombard religion. But for all the harm it does (islam and
it's kohran) it is the opium of the masses, withdraw it
and witness true mayhem. I guess it's the best example
of "you need a little chaos to create order". Anyhow
religion seems a very pertinnetn analogy to this quote.
Wehther y ou believe in IT, one can not deny that it does
have it's ability to control/regulate whether for good or
bad.
So what's the concusion of it all? I'd have to say "Don't
be a dumbass!". Marriage involves hard times and monogamy
goes against our genetic inclination, but we've evolved
and simply we must act like evolved beings. Educatoin is
the golden road leading you away from stupidity, travel it
for as long as it will take you, and when you think it's
ended pave your own way. The golden road is paved by
other people's ideas, lay your own bricks and extend it,
for the benefit of everyone. Religion, either you like it
or you don't. The only thing I have to say is don't
chastize others unless they're being dumbasses about it.
And we all know when people are being dumbasses about it
so don't ask a clueless questoin here. Religion wasn't
meant as a guide to death, but a guide to life.
