DINNER: Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas,
fresh cucumbers and iced tea and banana cake with vanilla
ice cream for dessert.

WHAT'S IN JOHN'S LUNCHBOX: Sliced peppered roast beef
sandwich with mustard,horseradish, chopped green peppers,
thinly sliced sweet onion; ham sandwich with provolone
cheese, mustard, chopped green pepper and sliced olives; two
lightly buttered blueberry muffins; a piece of peach pie; a
piece of banana cake; an apple, a nectarine and a plum; two
containers of iced tea and one of iced coffee.

QUILTING: Worked a bit on Buttonwork Basket appliqué and on
yellow scrap quilt in frame.

WHAT I'M GRATEFUL FOR: Golden bees buzzing around the roses

READING: Hard Eight by Janet Evanovich Also listening to
tapes of Patty Jane's House of Curl by Lorna Landvik while

WEATHER: Warm and clear with highs in the lower 80s

SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW: Go to Corvallis to return rented
DVDs, grocery shopping, pick up books on hold at the library and recycling.
