1st Entry!!! Intro to Ashly + the gang

Hi, I guess I'll tell a little about myself to get this
journal going. This will probably end up being the longest
entry. My name is Ashly, I'm 17 until October 17th, and I
live in a little 2 bedroom apartment with my fiancee, Ryan,
my best friend, Jacki, and her boyfriend, Tony. I moved out
when I was 16, because I really didn't get along with my
parents. I have 2 little brothers, Evan is 11 and Spencer
is just a few months old. I try to see them as much as I
can, because I wanted to get away from my parents when I
left, not them. Things between my and my parents are
getting a lot better now that I moved out. We're all
happier. I like to write (songs and poems and all sorts of
things), I play the guitar, and love to sing. I usually
only play my own songs. Ryan asked me to marry him on June
18th, our 2 and 1/2 year anniversary, and of course I said
yes. I love him with all my heart, and I want nothing more
than to spend the rest of my life with him. Music is a
passion of mine, and I'm a big fan of 80's music, hard
rock, techno, and goth/industrial. I am obsessed with the
Powerpuff Girls, and I recently cut my hair to look like
Buttercup. I am totally in love with Angelina Jolie, and
would pretty much do anything just to meet her. I'm very
open about sexual matters, and one of my favorite stores is
Condom Revolution, it's awesome. I am sexually attracted to
women, but I don't think I could ever have a romantic
relationship with one. Women can be such bitches, I don't
think I could handle it. Here's some info on the special
people in my life, since their names should pop up quite

Ryan, 20- My fiancee and the love of my life. We're getting
married December 15th, he proposed in Mexico on our 2 and
1/2 year anniversary. We stayed at this awesome resort, the
Estero Beach Resort just a few minutes away from Ensenada.
There was a pool right at the end of our front yard, with a
cool swim-up bar. Swim-up bars are neat. Sex on the Beach
is the best drink ever. Ryan just turned 20 on June 1st.
His mom made us a nice birthday dinner. He has a really
sweet mom, her name's Michelle. She lives alone in a condo
a couple of cities away, and we visit her as much as we
can. She's really excted about the wedding. Ryan's favorite
band is Tool, and he can play drums, bass, and guitar (but
please, don't ask him to sing along). He's a very talented
artist and we have his artwork mounted on all the walls at
home. Our living room is like a gallery. I love him more
than I ever knew possible, and I would give him the moon
and the stars if they were mine to give.

Gini, 18- My other best friend (besides Jacki). We've known
each other 6 years. She's going away to UC Davis in
September, and I hope I don't die without her. She likes
Powerpuff Girls too, she's Blossom (and I'm Buttercup,
remember?). We're the ice-a-ma-cream sisters (ice-a-ma-
cream is our term for weed, which we smoke quite often).
Gini is the perfect example of an anti-stereotype. She's a
total "loadie", as our friend Tiffany would say, yet she
managed to keep up a 4.0 or higher GPA all through high
school, along with tons of extracurricular activities
(besides ice-a-ma-cream, of course), opera singing, a
boyfriend, Coby, 2 jobs, and (yes, there's more) she got
accepted to UC Davis and the (very) exclusive music program
at Pepperdine (after some deliberation, she chose
Pepperdine). Weed hasn't made her stupid in the slightest,
and the same applies to me. I can't say it applies to
everyone though. We used to be friends with this girl
Miriam, and she's totally damaged from excessive smokeage.
She talks slow, she looks permastoned,'s sad, really.
While she's baked 24/7, Gini and I keep up with jobs and

Coby, 23- Gini's boyfriend and Tony's best friend (Tony is
Jacki's boyfriend remember?). I just met him a few months
ago. He's a really cool guy, he's just really shy and
quiet. But once you get to know him, he opens up a lot, and
it's really nice talking to him. He's in love with Gini,
but she's a little confused right now. I don't think she's
going to be able to handle a long term relationship when
she leaves for UC Davis. I feel sorry for him. He's been
hurt really bad in the past, and now he's fallen in love so
hard with Gini, and he's just going to end up losing her.
He's such a good guy, he really deserves someone who's
ready to make a long term commitment.

Jacki, 18- I mentioned her in the first paragraph, she's my
best friend besides Gini. I've known her for 5 years. She
is pure beauty, inside and out. She's been with Tony for a
little over two years, and their relationship has been
anything but boring. Jacki and I don't "hang out" as much
as we'd like to, but we live together, so it kind of makes
up for it. I guess we both just have really demanding
schedules. But regardless of how often I see her, we love
each other unconditionally, and we couldn't be better

Tony, 19- Jacki's boyfriend, and a really cool guy. I've
known him 4 years. He likes tattoos and piercings a lot,
and his face has enough holes for a golf course. He still
plays video games at the ripe old age of 19, but boys will
be boys. He works at Nichol's Institute for Quest
Diagnostics (be afraid, be very afraid). I think they
splice animal genes and people genes together there and
make mutant monsters, but Tony says that's not true (yeah,
anyway...he deals with animal blood...ew). Coby works there
too. They get to go into big freezers that are like 30
below and handle biohazardous materials. Someday he'll have
a third eye.

Tiffany and Johannes, 18- Cute couple, they like to have
ice-a-ma-cream with Gini and I. Both of them are leaving
for college soon, and I'll miss them. Tiff's a chipmunk and
Johannes is a monkey, and together they're gonna have
chipmonkeys :). Tiff and I hated each other a lot when we
first met 6 years ago, but just this year we became really
good friends. Tiffany completes the Powerpuff Girl trio by
being Bubbles. Gini, Tiff, and I are off to save the world
before bedtime!

Lily, 18- I've known her for 10 years, since 2nd grade. We
were best driends the whole time until just last year, when
we stopped hanging out all the time. She's still my friend
and all, we just like different things and different
people. That's all I have to say about that.

Okay, that's about it! Bye for now!
