DAILY FEATURES
DINNER: Grilled hamburgers, potato salad and soda.
WHAT'S IN JOHN'S LUNCHBOX: Rice and chicken to microwave; a
ham, salami and provolone cheese sandwich with thinly sliced
sweet onion, slivers of green pepper, sliced black
olives, and mustard; potato salad; a piece of cherry pie;
two pieces of lightly buttered banana bread; apple cake; a
nectarine, an apple and a banana; two containers of iced
tea, two of lemonade and one of iced coffee. [John brought
most of yesterday's lunch home as he didn't have a chance to
eat much at work yesterday .]
QUILTING: Worked a bit on Buttonwork Basket applique;
worked a bit on Scared Silly cross-stitch
WHAT I'M GRATEFUL FOR: The feel of grass on my bare feet;
John's good-by kiss
READING: Nothing. Still looking for a book to read, but not
looking very hard; it's too hot to read.
WEATHER: Clear and a little cooler with highs in the mid 90s
SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW: Housework, maybe a little quilting
and still trying to keep cool. Perhaps an afternoon nap.
