QUOTE: July mornings have a sense of timelessness that is
worth getting up to see. It is in the coolness of the
early, misty, pale-blue and gray mornings; in the wide
reaches of green, wooded hills, ripening wheat fields, and
restless blue-green cornfields. It is in the beautiful
green hayfields, when the hay has just been cut but has yet
been raked up into windrows. ~ Rural Free: A Farmwife's
