DAILY FEATURES

DINNER: Barbecued pork spareribs, rice, corn and garlic
bread.

WHAT'S IN JOHN'S LUNCHBOX: Another big lunch as he'll be
working upstairs in the control room and won't be able to
get anything out of his locker; he may also be working
another 16 hour shift.
Macaroni salad; sub sandwich (cotto salami and ham,
mustard and mayonnaise, sliced green peppers and olives);
fruit salad; blueberry pie; sliced, buttered banana bread;
nectarine, apple and banana; iced tea; iced coffee;
cranberry-raspberry juice; a large jug of filtered water
with lemon slices.

QUILTING:Worked a little on December block of Folk Art
quilt.

WHAT I'M GRATEFUL FOR: Quiet summer days; fresh
strawberries.

READING: Waiting for books

WEATHER: Hot! Highs in the lower 90s

SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW: Trip to Corvallis to pick up books
at library (?)
