letters in the mail

so here is a long story made short:

I had a thing with this kid in high school. I really loved
him and we ended up giving each other our virginity. Since
i was a year ahead of him in school, i graduated and went
2000 miles away for school. we still kinda kept in touch,
and now i am just dying to see him. i sent him a letter a
few weeks ago, and am running to the mailbox everyday to
see if he wrote me back... is a little mail too much to ask
for?
