Chores

I went to bed very early last night which meant I was up in
the middle of the night. I did a couple of loads of
laundry, ran the dishwasher and emptied it, baked the
chicken and made a pie.

I felt it catch up with me around 11 a.m and took a little
nap. When I got up a couple of hours later I got started on
dinner, folded laundry, and did more dishes. Owen fed Shep.
Maybe it's because Owen's home that Shep seems more
energetic.

I'm trying to spend less money on food but it's tough to do.
The package of chicken legs I bought was large and less than
four dollars but they'll go through it fast. I don't buy
bacon and sausage anymore or butter or croissants. These
foods aren't only expensive but high fat so it's not going
to hurt anyone to skip them. I buy quite a bit of cheese
though because I can use it in so many ways and on different
dishes but I try to buy it on sale. We buy bread at the day
old bread store and try to buy all our milk and orange juice
on sale so that helps.
