That's the lyrics of the song in my playlist that I play
over and over again at this very moment.
It's a powerful song by the band that goes by the name
Aerosmith. The song, which is titled DREAM ON, is from one
of their older cd's. To be quite honest, I've never heard
of it until yesterday.
I was watching VH1's top 100 greatest song and the
video/song came up. And when it was over, I just felt like
I wanted to hear it again so I signed on to Napster and
downloaded the song even though I had a hard time finding
it because they started filtering the files. I finally
found it by searching under @erosmith, rather than
Aerosmith (you have to change the spelling in order to have
a successful search result).
I used to like Aerosmith because of their good songs and
especially because of their videos which stars Alicia
Silverstone whom I admire. But now, I don't like them as
much as I have over the past years, but I still think
they're a good band, I just don't listen to them that much
anymore.
The song perfectly fits my mood. It's kind of sad, but at
the end, you'll hear words pertaining to hope. It's the
kind of song that you can't get it off your head once you
heard it. I said earlier that it fits my mood, well, it
kind of relates to me because of the bad year I had in
school, but then it says things such as; dream on, sing for
the laughter and sing for the tear... It holds true to me.
I also like their song, Janie's Got a Gun. The song is
about a young girl sexually harassed by her father. I'll
