1st Entry - June 4th, 2002 2:50 AM

Well, it's my first entry. Uh...My name is Angelica, I'm
11, 12 in 9 days, and I live in Wisconsin. I have a
brother, Nathan, who's 22; a sister, Gina, who's 24; and a
brother-in-law, Todd, who's 25. It was Gina and Todd's
anniversary yesterday, actually. Two years. I have a dog,
Rocky; three cats, Peanut, Sully, and Kitty, and a guinea
pig, Angel. My favorite band is Linkin Park, although
Blink 182 is a close second. My favorite movie is 'Final
Destination'. I like NASCAR, too. My favorite drivers are
Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Kevin 'Happy' Harvick, and Matt
Kenseth. I also like Ryan Newman, Jimmie Johnson, Ricky
Rudd, Casey Atwood, and a lot of other drivers, but those
are my favorites. My favorite song is probably 'Chop
Suey!' by System of a Down, although I'm always changing my
mind. SO, let's get to the diary part, huh?

So, today was an alright day. I woke up around noon [thank
god for summer vacation], and looked for Sully. He's been
gone for almost two weeks. That reminds me, I should check
the humane society's website after this. Hmm. I'm worried
about him. He's not Peanut, he can't last outside. I hope
he comes back. It's been so quiet without him meowing all
the time. At least I still have my baby [Peanut]. I've
had him since he was born. August 4th, 1999. He looked
like a peanut, that's how he got his name. His brothers
and sisters died, and they're buried out at Gina and
Todd's. Sully's litter did good though. They were born
around noon on June 13th, 200, also my 10th birthday. That
day was a good day for a lot of reasons. First, I was no
longer in the one-digits. Second, Gina and Todd got back
from their honeymoon that day. And, of course, third,
because Sully was born. The entire litter was only 4
kittens, though. The same as Peanut's. Anyway, it took me
a while to come up with sutiable names for them. There was
Biff and Sully, Bert and Ernie. Bert and Ernie are twins,
but Ernie was a little bit, uh, 'plumper' than Bert. he
also had an orange spot on his forehead, so we could tell
him from Bert. Biff and Sully are the names of the
construction workers on Sesame Street. Biff and Sully the
kittens were a team, too. They always slept next to each
other, ate together, and played together. Then, Gina's
friend Susan took Biff and name him...ick...Midnight.
Sully was devastated. Luckily, he had me and Peanut. Ber
was taken by my brother, and Ernie went to someone Gina
works with. Bert later became Kitty. Around my birthday
in 2000, I got a kitten named Tippy. Tippy was my pride
and joy. She was sweet, loving, and was the most beautiful
cat you'd ever see. Her father was an orange Persian, and
her mother was a pure white american shorthair. Tippy, on
the other hand, was black and gray, with a little orange
and tan mixed in. On the tip of her tail was tan, hence
her name. Tippy, Peanut and I were best friends. We would
sit on the floor, and they would listen to me talk. It was
almost like they knew what I was saying. Who am I kidding,
they DID know what I was saying! Anyway, on August 4th,
Peanut's birthday, Tippy was taken away from me. She had
somehow gotten into the garage, and the door was open. My
dad noticed that she got out, and he closed the door.
Tippy had managed to get under just enough as to not set
off the detector that tells the opener if something is in
the way. She was choked to death. I didn't talk for a
month after that. Not even in school. But, I moved on,
and I talk to Tippy every night. I've had tons of other
pets. Oreo, Smokey and Coal, the gerbils, Scottie [short
for Butterscotch] the hamster, Stabone, Stabone the 2nd,
Sweet Pea, Chrissy, Buddy the parakeets, a wild rabbit, too
many fish to mention, and some others that were a little
closer to me. First, there was Carmel. Carmel was my first
real pet. My sister had been driving home from work one
day and spotted 3 kittens by the side of the road. She
picked them up an dbrought them home. There was a grey and
white one, which my sister took and named Zoe. Zoe is also
the mother of Peanut, Sully, and Harley, who I'll get to
tomorrow.] My brother took the tabby and named her
Tigger. I got a scrawny orange and white kitten, which I
named Carmel. Carmel was my best friend. My neighbor
Morgan had just moved away, and Carmel was by only friend.
He didn't mind if I pulled his tail or his ears, because he
loved me. He also loved to go outside. That's why we had
to get rid of him. we gave him to my Uncle Martin, who at
that time, lived on a farm. I never saw him agian. The
second animal that sticks in my mind is Bandit. Bandit,
Bandit, Bandit. Bandit the ferret was the sneakiest animal
ever. He got stuck behind the TV, stole my CDs, untied my
shoes, and bit the head off of his rubber ducky. I got him
for my 11th birthday. He was a neat litle fella. He'd
crawl in one of my shirt sleeves, and come out the other.
One night, I came downstairs to my room. His cage was
right outside my door, but I just glanced at him. I did a
double take as I saw what had happened. He had been
chewing on the wires on his cage and got his mouth stuck!
I got my dad, and eventually we got him out, with only a
minor scratch in his mouth. We survived. One day in
October, my since ex-friend Breanna came over and decided
to give Bandit a little bath while I was talking to my
mom. She ran the water, but forgot to check the
temperature. The poot my poor ferret in scalding hot water
for 10 minutes. His feet didn't look too bad at first,
just a little red. My parents didn't feel the need to take
him to the vet. After a few days, his feet got worse. He
didn't want to move. After a few weeks, he didn't move.
He didn't want to live anymore. still, my parents said
that he would be fine. Then, in December, things took a
turn for the worst. He wouldn't eat or drink. While I was
sleeping, my dad took Bandit out of his cage and put him in
the upstairs bathroom, where it was warmer. When I got up
in the morning, I went to open the door, and I looked in to
see my baby. Dead. My parents made me go to school that
day, those assholes. They sid he would be alright, but
they were wrong. Sometimes I think they're out to get me
too. But, anyway, it's getting late. 3:22 AM, to be
exact. See ya tomorrow.

- Peace Out

Angelica
