AGONY IN A TEAR DROP

The silence of a tear drop
screams out in tormented pain.
The flood of many tear drops
is like a torrential rain.

They will drown a broken heart
and suffocate a soul.
They will flow without compassion
when they are on a roll.

They roll down-hill so easily
it's so hard to make them stop.
But stop they must
for there are no more tears left to drop.
