Journals

I was reading my friend Chris' new journal that I found
today. There was a letter to someone who he loved. And I
read it, and there was just this overwhelming feeling of
jealousy. It almost made me cry. I don't know why, it was
just upsetting. I want to be protected, held in someone's
arms, to be safe there. To be loved, cared for...someone
to laugh with, someone to think of me when I'm not with
them, someone who's highlight of the day is talking to me.
And I want that for me too.
