A Few (Couple) Words to the Wise

Seeing as I really haven't written anything in here for
awhile, due to a busy life and events that need not be
written (typed) here, I figured I should make an update. As
for the title, the beginning of this entry will be based
solely upon a few (couple) things I made up off the top of
my head in conversations with my friends. Belief in these
doesn't matter, just think about them. Afterward, I think I
may briefly update my life.

You can not change the past, but the future you mould with
your own desires.

You can't prove everything with Science, somethings just
need to be believed in. However, faith can't do everything
for you, otherwise you follow blindly like a sheep.

Well, that's the thinking/philosophical part, and here's
the update. My life is on the upturn, as it has been for
the past few months. Though I missed a week of school last
week due to a very bad case of the common cold (or
something with coughing involved...), I'm back with barely
a hitch. I'm still singing in the Kiwanis Festival (May 1
4:00 - 5:30 at McDougall Church), and I even managed to
attend the (terrible) recycling field trip (and had a
miserable time, I will point out). My marks on my last
report card were good, and I even went up in Math and Phys.
Ed (yay!). I'm (trying) to make a character for one of
Guppy's RPGs (I'm not sure if he has more than one, but
just in case...), and I do have plans for my first formal
(or pseudo-formal) celebration of Midsummer. However, with
the good will come the disappointing (I hesitate to say
"bad", as this next point is far from it). I still have a
crush on the same boy I have for the past two or three
months. I'm trying to shake it, but...I seem not to be
terribly successful.

Despite this, I feel oddly mature and at peace with the
world. Maybe it's because my new diet has me eating more
fruit and vegetables, or perhaps it stems from my beliefs.
I may seem harsh at school, but I may be surprising when
not in that atmosphere. Conflict and Competition are my
masks, but every once in awhile, they slip ever so
slightly. This may allow the insight into the part of my
personality that I keep mostly out of sight. Jessyca knows
me, though. However, we are inseperable (for the most
part), though we are mostly opposite personalities. Arguing
is frequent, but brief.

Stop. I have remembered me. My short update has turned very
lengthy, and so I will leave it at that. I may try to
update this more, but this I can not be extremely reliable
with.
