Don't sleep in the Subway

It's been a very busy week for me, one that has meant
running like a wild man to keep up. At work, the creation
of the database, along with the technical documentation, is
complete. Now, I'm putting the information into the
database, while I make sure there aren't any little snags
that will throw it off. At home, I continue working on the
web site for Epitome, which I still have to finish before I
can get a small business license to do web sites for
people. If only I weren't three years too late to make it
a lucrative sideline. I just want something to bring in a
little extra income. I've been finishing up the remainder
of the paperwork left over from the cat's death, which is
no small task in and of itself. My best friend's Mother
died two nights ago, and I've been feeling helpless over
this, since she lives in Houston and I'm in Boston. The
boyfriend and I are facing a double money crunch today,
with him facing an immediate shortfall of about $100 and me
not getting too much more this week. The house is an
ungodly mess. The bills are paid for the moment, though I
have to negotiate with the electric company for a while.

And, of course, it's all jammed together like that in my
head, which is not helpful. If I had more time, I would
take it apart and figure things out item by item--even
perhaps make a spreadsheet. As it is now, I just sit and
stew ....
