10/17/00- Tuesday

Not much time to type today, but I thought I could get a little in.
Where was I, Oh, yes, Chris and Kelly- they moved to mideast in the
states and they just bought a house. They are pretty cool- they
haven't quite been the same since their son died, but who would be,
right? Their kids are really cute, but a whiney bunch- very mouthy.
Next sibling, my brother, Chad and his wife Kollyne. They are the
best people I have ever met, I mean, my favorite of anyone in the
world that I ever knew. They are expecting their first baby in
December- they own their own business and they work their asses off.
Really, Chad is friendly to everyone, sees good in everyone and he
just makes being alive that much better. He is probably the person I
most wanted my husband to be like and fortunately, I see many of his
qualities in my husband. Well, that's all the siblings except for my
sister, Cory, who I already told you about. I have to go to work
soon, which really sucks. I am a waitress at a local restaurant and
I love my co workers, they're awesome, but I hate the job part. I
hate having to be nice to rude assholes and I hate having to pretend
I am interested in what people say. A lot of old people come to eat
there, which is okay, but they are starting to work on my nerves.
Don't get me wrong, I am the type of person that really likes old
people- I think they have a lot to say and a lot of knowledge, but
some of them are so nippy. Now I don't want to offend anyone, but I
do have to say that southern people who come into the restaurant are
really rude! Suprisingly, the New Yorkers are the coolest and most
friendly. One other thing, foreigners from the European countries do
not tip. What's up with that? Do they think I like to wait on
them? I don't get it! They are always very friendly, but no tips!
I can't complain too much, though, I make about $13.00 an hour on a
quiet night. Not too shabby for a part time gig. Well, I better be
off- more tomorrow.
