I hate Prom. Prom is like, the Anti-Christ of high-school dances. My god. I mean, I'm going and everything, but I don't particulary wanna go...The only thing that makes it worthwhile is that Richard is taking me. He's my bestfriend of 12 years (we've known each other since I was 5 and he was 6) and recent boyfriend of a year and a half. I hate being popular, cause when you're popular you can't date who you want, you have to date who your FRIENDS want. Fortunately, Richard's dad is a millionaire (NO KIDDING!!) and they all ADORE him...Wonder WHY?? I went shopping with Jamie this morning, just to relieve some stress before my hair appointment at 4. I spent, like, 400 dollars at Old Navy. I bought 3 bathing suits, 4 pairs of boot cut capris, 6 pairs of shoes, 3 pairs of sunglasses, 9 shirts, 5 skirts, 12 pairs of socks, 3 purses, makeup, etc etc etc. Then we went to the mall and I OD'ed in Afterthoughts and Claires. I spent like, 100 dollars there too. I bought so much jewelry. So, now it's 6 o'clock. I had my makeup done at the mall in Neiman Marcus, and then had my hair done at "Hair Affairs...With A Married Man"...*lol* That's Tina's store. She has the weirdest sense of humour. So, I'm just waiting for Traci and Kelly and Brandi and Tara and Lindsy and Amee and Meghan to get over here so we can get dressed. We're all going together in this big-ass limo that we made our dates rent for us!! *lol* Than we're going to the nearest big city...*lol* I'm NOT telling where I live! And we're having "dinner" on a cruise through the bay AFTER Prom (730-1030). That'll be nice. So, I'd better be going, or I'll miss those girls pullin' into the driveway. Besides, I have to go and reapply my lipstick, and put on my jewelry and realign my tiara. (the theme is "Happily Ever After")...Its all faerie tale-ish. I have this GORGEOUS dress that looks like Drew Barrymore's when she goes to the ball in Ever After...Kinda cross between that and the one she's wearing at the end. And I have GLASS SHOES!! Gramma and Grammpa bought them for me when they were in Austria...They cost like, 500 dollars! Thank god for "old money". *lol* So, anyway...I'd better be going...I already said that! *lol* Ok, so I'm going. I'll keep you updated on how Prom went...
