lead me down the pathway
to your moonswept plane
your dewdrops are like kisses
to take away the pain

hold me tight in your arms
then shove me away
you look right in my face
but your eyes are far away

i run but go nowhere
and hide deep within myself
nobody knows me as well as they think
a clean little dollie tucked upon the shelf

up until morning
frowning at the sun
skimmed through violet's musings
now i'm just a *cinnamon bun*

i have thoughts too
