Fun Evening

Well today was kinda boring. Did some yard work, cleaning
up the wind debris, and worked a little on my paper
research. I think i have narrowed it down a little as far
as what i'm going to cover in it. I still have to outline
it by tuesday, and write it by April 3rd. Won't be all that
hard i think. The only other thing i did today was read.
Not for school but for myself, something i don't do enough
of anymore. I have finish my current book, a history of the
Brittish Navy, before the 25th when its due.

If the day was boring then the evening was very fun. I met
Conrad at Crasy Eights round 8pm. I really like that place.
Its kinda smokey but it has a nice atmosphere, like a pool
hall should be. Thats something i've noticed about the pool
room at Gburg. Its far to bright and there is no music
playing so its too quiet. Its almost like i need a little
smoke and noise to play right. They should really dim the
lights and put a radio in the place. that would make it
better. Anyway, Conrad and I shot a couple games before
Beth, Betta and Beckbeck came. I think I must be improving
with my game because i gave Conrad a serious run for his
money for a while. Once the girls got there we switched off
with pairs. Beth and betta have improved very much, and
both had some pretty interesting shots. Beth had one that
skipped onto the edge of the table and road it for its
lengh before falling off. This should be a new term but no
one could come up with a name for it. Beckbeck isn't bad
either. She had several runs of three in a row, and made a
few that i don't think i could have made. I played with my
new cue, the less expensive one that is. With the new tip
it shot very well, though you do need to wipe the end of it
more often cus the cheaper material collects stuff faster.
The grip on it is very nice. I've decided to take it to
back to school, and leave the more expensive one at home
where it's safer. If i lose the $13 dollar one i'm not out
much, but the $100 cue is a different subject. I really
need names for these things. It would better then
saying "the cheap one" or "the expensive one". You can stop
laughing now beth, cus i know you are lol.

Anyway, it was great to see the girls again, especially
Betta because i haven't seen her in so long. Beth leaves
for ND at 1am by train Sunday morning. Hope she has a safe
trip. Only 7 weeks till the start of summer and MORP!! I
can't wait!!
