Pleasantly Surprised

Well, I survived Honors Night. It turns out that I was
right in a few of my predictions. It was long and boring.
Melody, one of the people who I expected to get all of the
scholarships, did get pretty much all of them. Well, at
least 4 or 5. However, the other that I had predicted only
got one scholarship. I got the one that I had been hoping
for! I was so excited!

Afterwards, we had practice. It was actually fun for
once. I hope it's like that tonight. I'm really going to
miss everyone. We drive each other nuts when we spend so
much time together, but it seems so strange that next year,
I won't be spending every spare moment of my life with
them. It's amazing how much we take for granted. My goal
for the rest of the year is to notice the little things and
appreciate them. I'm going to make sure that each and
every one of my friends knows how much they mean to me!
