Wandering

Hope for tomorrow
Joy for today
Anything in this world,
Let it come what may.

I know not where I’m going
And I know not where I lie
I am only passing,
Forever passing by

Please stop me as I travel
And share a word or two
Take the time to know me
And soon you’ll love me too.

But if ever I should falter
Don’t kick me when I’m down
I’ll just get up to walk again
Only to fall back down.

I know that you will help me
As true friends always do
So take my arm and help me walk
And know truly I love you.
