Blue Castle reverie

dejected...

Tonight has been rather dissappointing thusfar. Among
other things, I discovered that my darling, brilliant
little brother doesn't like poetry. I spent an hour trying
to convince him otherwise, but to no avail. I read him all
sorts of wonderful poems by all sorts of marvelous people,
and nothing. It's almost heartbreaking, as important as it
is to me. And then I got my cello out... for the first
time in almost two years (how did that happen... i used to
love it so much!) and I played for a while. And it wasn't
too bad, considering how long it's been, but I have the
technical profficiency I had in 7th grade. Maybe things will get
better if Lauren ever calls.
