Pulled in different directions

I have a big pet peeve about people coming over to visit
uninvited. That's what happened yesterday. My friend, Sara,
whom is one of those annoying friends that you debate about
answering the phone when they call. Well, yesterday I
decided to pick up the phone. She called just for idle
chat, which is usually dull and boring. After about 20
minutes of me playing computer games while listening to her
on the phone, she announced she was putting on her shoes
and coming over. (oh joy) So, I had to do a 10-minute tidy
job on our place to make it look presentable, considering
my one-year-old is a one-man demolishion team.

She got here and helped herself to my fridge. What I hate
most is she doesn't really respect or consider my boy and
says things like "you're retarded" when he'll wave and
say "hi" or do one of his other toddler tricks. Then she
told me she's going to marry her long-time crush...who
happens to have been in jail for the past I don't know how
many years and is getting out in May. This girl needs to
get her head together cause she picks the worst out there.
Next thing I know, she's in my son's room, hooking her
laptop up to the telephone line and going online. I show
her all the wedding sites I used when I got married, then
she tried on my dress and announced that she wants to wear
it for her wedding. It'll be funny to see her alter a dress
meant for a DD to an Acup.

It was about that time when Dave came home in a poor mood
and immediately shut himself in the bathroom. I found out
soon enough that he was sick and when I announced that to
Sara, she just said "give him some chicken soup". Normally,
that's a good cue to LEAVE. When she finally did leave
around 6p.m. I went to the grocery to get Dave all the
necessary sick foods. I babied him all night to try to make
him feel better.

Now, I have to run an errand for him to get his boss's
drill fixed, before doing the laundry and cleaning the
house, then going to my mom's tonight for some candle
party. How much time to they think I have? Oh well, I'll
get over it. It's just that the icing on the cake are the
painful cramps I've been feeling since late last night. I
hope it's not a problem with the baby. *sigh*
