Disgusted.

A poste I saw on a doll board...

: I have no desire to collect a "healthy-looking" female
doll. It's pretty and I love R. Tonner's work, being a fan,
but personally, I like my dolls looking like they do
currently--amazing cute, amazing sleek and slinky,
amazingly thin.
: What's next in reality dolls, one with cellulite on the
thighs? One with a torso that requires exercise? Guess I'll
model for that one, or the one that needs to shave her
legs....me again.

: Just tweeking your nose and trying for some laughter.
Hope all of Robert's dolls do well.

i wouldnt want to BE that size, so why the heck would i
want a doll representing what i DONT want to be???
hello!!
i can see why people who are that size would want a doll
they can identify with, so mabey when i hit a size 20 my
mind will change, but lets hope i never have to find out! i
like dolls who are athletic looking, to me they symbolise
the healthy, active ideal that i personally think is sound.
this is probably better for me than going for the 'big is
beautiful' ideal as heart conditions run in my family, as
does being overweight. ive seen the difference between how
my grandmother and grandfather are aging in relation to
their weight (they are both 60)-my slender active grandma
is amazingly heathly, i swear she never even catches cold,
and she looks so YOUNG for her age, my poor overweight, non
excercising granfather has already suffered a heart attack,
and he looks about 10 years older than he is...i know where
i wanna be.
but thats just me...
