Canada rocks

Yes, I admit I am one hell of a big patriot. I love my
country to death and I'm not afraid to shout it out. We also
know I'm not a huge fan of the U.S. but that's a given.
Anyways lately I have been listening a lot to Canadian
content when it comes to music. I love the Moffatts. I have
since they first came out. Anyways I found a song that I
love to crank and put on repeat. It's Misery and it fits me
perfectly. I've always enjoyed this song but lately it just
seems to fit. Here goes:
Misery

I cried myself asleep again tonight
Cause I can not hold you tight
I wish I could see you again tomorrow
To take all this sorrow, sorrow, I'm hollow

When I touch you
Can you feel it?
When I need you
Can you give it?
When I look in your eyes
Can you see me?
When I fall, fall
Will you catch me?
Catch me, catch me

Misery is what I feel
When you're not around
So I can't heal
Misery is what I feel
Is what I feel

These tears on my face are for you
I wish that I could
Hold you, touch you, feel you
My heart is bleeding, can't you see?
I wish that you could
Hold me, touch me, feel me

When I touch you
Can you feel it?
When I need you
Can you give it?
When I look in your eyes
Can you see me?
When I fall
Will you catch me?
Catch me, catch me

Chorus x 2

So that's my song of the day. Hockey is big this weekend.
It's All-star weekend and I am excited. Mostly for the young
star's game on Friday night. Mike Fisher of the Senators
will be playing in it and he's my second favourite Sen as
well as a Peterborough boy. I'm excited. I also hope the
North American team kicks ass in the game on Saturday. Oh
and the Olympics start next week! Bring it on! Hopefully our
hockey teams will do better than the last Olympics. The
Mens' team only came in 4th and the Women's lost the gold to
the damn U.S. Hopefully we'll redeem ourselves. I guess
we'll see.
