Radiant Sunlight

I want to wake up to radiant sunlight
and the whisper of fall trees whistling in the wind.
I want to wake up to the wallow of tar outside
as the tires of passing cars roll by.
I want to wake up filled with love,
wrapped in her arms,
and emerged in the sunlight of a new day....
a new love....
a new life.
