DAILY FEATURES

DINNER: Leftovers

WHAT'S IN JOHN'S LUNCHBOX: Chicken and vegetables to
microwave, tuna sandwich, slice of apple pie, chocolate
chip cookies, apple, orange, banana, coffee and mixed berry
juice. [John didn't have time to eat his lunch yesterday so
I gave the old tuna fish sandwich to Shep and made him
another for today.]

QUILTING: Cut out fabric for twelve pieced and six appliqued
stars for American Spirit Quilt

WHAT I'M GRATEFUL FOR: Waking up from a nap and realizing
John has placed a quilt over me as I slept; hearing Gavin
say *I love you, Mom* when he was four on the CD John made
me for Christmas from old tapes of the boys when they were
small; listening to Edith Piaf singing *Je ne regrette
rien*; a Mutts cartoon that makes me laugh out loud

WEATHER: Cold, windy and highs in the mid 40s.
