Mood: Thoughtful
Song: If i can Dream by Elvis Presley
Color: Copper

This generation, my generation may not be the one that Journeyed out to find new worlds, who founded governments and countries, its' not the one that then after that fought for those same countries in wars.
It's not the golden generation, it's not the ones that traveled miles in horse drawn wagons to settle in the west to start a new life, we aren't the the Settlers or the founders or the inventors.
But that doesn't mean that we won't make our own destiny.
It doesn't mean that there aren't still amazing things to be discovered, done, experienced, invented.
It doesn't mean that we have to take what people say about us to heart....we can make a positive change in our world, becaue that's just what it is, the older generation did both good and bad things and both had an effect on the world and history, and so will we, what we do will be both good things and bad things.
We arent screw up's we aren't the things that's going to doom the world like lot of people think.

Look at us.
We've barely begun.
My generation isn't even old enough to hold a place in government yet(which means that all the current bull is an older generations doings FYI) but think about it, we are just now getting out into the world, just now getting Jobs and starting careers and family's.
We've got lots of time to make a mark on the world, we've not even started yet and we are getting the blame for all this negative stuff?
I'm not saying that my generation is all great and perfect it's definitely not, but we aren't all bad either.... and what do you expect us to do when all we hear you say about us is how we are messing things up and are horrible?
Give us a bit of grace and give us a chance to start before you judge us.

What the older generation needs to do:

1. Teach the younger generation and train them up in the way they should go.
2. Stop saying anything negative about us(i'm not saying you don't call us out and be strait with us) but stop the unneeded insults.
3. Breathe.
4. Pray for us.
5. Try to do the best you can in life and for the world while you are still alive in it to do so no matter how old you are.
6. Work hard.
7. Never give up.

Things The younger generation needs to do:

1. Learn from and listen to the older generation, learn from both the good things but also from their mistakes so that we don't repeat them.
2. Stop believing that we are a screw up and or useless generation/ Stop letting that stop us from going out and trying.
3. Breathe there is still stuff that we are meant to do, called to do, we are here alive for a reason and purpose.
4. Pray, pray without ceasing. Pray like our lives and future's depend on it, because they do.
5. Try our best at what ever we do.
6. Stop being a lazy deadbeat generation and work hard to achive all the dreams and things that we should and could do.
7. Never Give up.

I feel an apathy in life, in the fact that i was born in a certain decade in a certian time that sees so boring because we aren't out seeiningly doing great things and discovering things ect.
But i have to remind myself that there is still so much out there to do, to see, to experience, to try, to learn, to know.
It isn't a boring time to be alive don't get me wrong.
But i feel i'm an old soul and i think my heart.... longs for another time and place.
am i the only one that feels like this? ever feel like you were born in the wrong time?

I know that i am alive for a reason.
I know that God has a plan and a purpose for my life, and for the lives of everyone.
I know that i'm not born in the wrong time even though i sometimes feel out of place.
I know why i sometimes feel out of place and that is because i was meant for another world...

C.S Lewis said: "If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world."
I believe that what he said is true.
I think the soul of a person cry's out and searches for something more than just what we are seeing, it cries out for it's creator.
that's why we ask since the beginning of time where we come from and why we are alive and is there a greater purpose than just to live and die.

Doesn't matter what generation you come from.
Doesn't matter how old you are.
we were all born and we will all die.
But that isn't what matters....what matters is how you LIVE and that you LIVE.
it only matter what you do, and how you love and how you choose to act and believe.
How you raise your family's, How you choose to pass on things from one to another.

Leave the place you are better than it was when you found it.
Stay focused on doing the next right thing and live your life that way.
Don't give up, don't lose hope, and don't lose faith.
