See, my jubilee has finished rumbling, and its last finale was a today's soirée in Russian in the Library #7 in Yekaterinburg. Several poets of the Urals, Natalia Nikitina(Russian: Наталия Никитина), Eugene Lobanov (Russian: Евгений Лобанов) and Elena Zakharova, came to wish me a happy Birthday. My Mom was also there.
I started out congratulating my Mom, who had served in the artillery for 15 years, for today is the day of artillery in Russia. Then I read some of my Russian poetry, and Eugene Lobanov represented several of our songs in Russian and in English. Natalia Nikitina gave me a Birthday card, an English scarf, a book of her prose and 300 Russian rubles as presents. She also handed me my jubilee certificate. Elena Zakharova gave me a book of poetry of Omar Khayyam in Russian, and Eugene Lobanov honored me with his wonderful present - two books of literary criticism. After the formalities of the event, we had some refreshments. At the end of the party I was asked to write a short synopsis of my soirée for the website of the Library #7.
