Fewer Extremes

This entry will be brief. The second wave of our first fall storm is due to come blowing through at any moment. So, I want to write before I have to resort to tapping it out on my phone. Not my favorite. My phone is big, but it's still tedious trying to compose, spell check, and publish an entry.

I had a decent day at work. It went by fast, and I had a huge sale that hopefully will help pull my month out the crapper ($1,500 including 20 bras... in one sale!) The customer came right up to me and said "I plan on spending a lot of money" and I did what I always do... I shopped with her budget not my own. I think a lot of retail workers spend too much time thinking about how much they'd be willing to spend, and forget that when they're helping a customer, they aren't shopping with their own money. Let her spend whatever her heart desires. Turns out she wasn't even paying for it. Her sugar daddy did. Where can I get one of those?!

For dinner tonight we'll be roasting veggie dogs in the fireplace and making s'mores! Our power isn't out, but since there's a strong likelihood it could go out at any point, we decided to be prepared. And of course the kids think it's a cool idea regardless of the weather.

I feel so good physically. I put a dress on today and couldn't get over how much my body has changed since last month (when I got serious about getting healthy). The past week I've struggled a teeny bit with making the best food choices, but I've done well, and have S Health to thank for that. It's kept me on track. I either go too long without eating, or I eat too much. Tracking my food intake is helping me stay level. I think it's exactly what my body needed too. Fewer extremes. Less binging, and more activity. Not just going to the gym, but passive exercise as well. I move my body far more than I used to back when I spent 3 hours a day working out. Now I'm always moving. Which is also better for me. Go me :)

Gotta go roast some weenies now!
