3.06 Miles

Of course my laptop waits until I want to use it to tell me it's going to shut down in 15 minutes. And I actually had an interesting day to elaborate on, but I don't feel like waiting for the lengthy reboot.

I finally did it! I got my lazy ass up and I went for a run. Well, it was more walking than running, but it's a start. I did a circular loop I've had in my mind for awhile. I imagined it was about 3 miles, and I was correct. 3.06 miles to be precise. I went down Lofall (the street I live on the very end of), then took a left on Pioneer Way, then another left onto Highway 3, and then left back on Lofall. I've decided I need to keep taking this route until I can run the entire 3 miles without stopping. I don't know what the goal is after that, but for now 3.06 miles is the goal.

Work was... insightful. I had a late closing shift (5:30-10). As I walked into the back room one of my fellow associates asked "what are you doing here?" She'd been called into work the same shift and was told she'd be in the fitting rooms. Which is were I normally am. I didn't know what was going on until I walked into the break room and saw them. New associates. According to Jenna I was facilitating their onboarding and I'll be finishing their onboarding next week. That's the Ops and Staffing Supervisor's job. Why am I being given the task? Snookums is convinced it means I'm a shoe-in for the position. I'm not putting too much stock into it. I don't want to be hurt again. It is interesting, though.

I'm off tomorrow, and all I can think about is trying my Lofall loop route again. I really want to become so fit it's easy. But the only way I can accomplish that is if I keep working on it. I know I can do it!
