July 6th - Wednesday

4:30

Not much in the way of fireworks last night, so the fools have hopefully gone through their supplies.
I should get out and walk this morning to try to get rid of some of this tension I’m carrying!
Sunrise should be around 6:07 again today, so there’s still a little less than an hour before it gets here! The birds are doing their chirp thing, but as I have the window and door-wall closed, it isn’t too loud. The sound insulation here seems to be pretty good.
5:55 and I’m working on my second cup of Joe
6:30 Blowy and cloudy—no sun so far!
I had a breakfast of cereal and dried fruit.
Heard from Lisa just a few ticks past nine, that my auto-draw hadn’t made it into their system, sent to the wrong department or some blather and now wouldn’t be starting until August. She would be depositing the check that I left with her yesterday.
I took the recycling down to my truck and got that rearranged and ran into Phyllis, who was still trying to get her carpet cleaned. She was off to take her charge to a Doctor’s appointment. I got everything set and went to exercise my Z car and drive over to the Mall to see if I could find some more frames for my new acquisitions. I found a couple 50% off frames at HL after looking through almost everything that they had in stock and bought them. I was feeling a little bummed out, so I didn’t stay there for long. Stopped at Meijer’s to get some cheddar slices and apple and grapefruit juice and got back here at just about noon. Checked my mail, which is now coming through steadily and then went up to get busy with cleaning the glass on my new frames and getting the pictures hung!
I fixed a couple ham n cheese sandwiches for lunch and settled in to read again and dozed off in the chair! It happens more often now, the afternoon nap! Its like I was three years old again! Not planed, it just happens! A new twist to senior living!
I didn’t go on line at all today!
