Napping Spordically

It's after 2am, but since I basically did nothing until about 4pm really my day was just pushed back later.

Snookums didn't work or have school, so we had one of those rare days when we where both home together. Instead of going out and doing something, we just hung out in our bedroom, watching episodes of Criminal Minds and napping sporadically. It was raining torrentially, so there was no feeling guilty about not getting out and walk. I definitely didn't feel like mall walking before work. So, I hoped I'd be busy enough at work to make my step goal. It wasn't. Not even close. So, I went to the gym after work. Thank goodness for 24 hour gym access.

We got a handful of new beauty belts in at work. They've been back ordered forever, and the ones the girls share are in pretty bad shape. Since I don't have to share mine, mine is still in good condition, but the new ones look so cool! Priority allotment went to management, and full-time selling (Kaitlin and I). Does getting a new fanny pack make up for all the discontent I feel with my work? No. But damn, the more I try to get out, the harder it seems to be. Today I read it could possibly take a month or more for THC to leave my body (for a drug test). Which makes it problematic to look for a new job. Even though cannabis is legal in Washington, employers still discriminate against it. I have no idea why. It's not like I'd be high at work. And since it's an integral part of my quality of life, it's yet another reason I'm not in any great hurry to leave VS.

The gym was surprisingly busy for almost 11pm. I only needed about 30 minutes to reach my step goal, but since I was there I did the weight machines too. I did a little stretching and came to the sobering conclusion that I'm not nearly as flexible as I used to be. That's something I truly need to work on. I've always been flexible. It makes me a little sad that I've let myself get so stiff. More yoga is in my future.
