Former Ebay Sellers vs. Ebay, Inc.
Part of what needs to be done to eBay
James Lancer The process according to historical consumer advocacy groups is to 1.) Gather consumers ( which is what we are as we pay eBay a service fee )and achieve critical mass. 2.) Gather and collate evidence and research. 3.) Demand a legal investigation based upon specific criminal activity ( know the difference between policies that are illegal and ones that are illegal and focus on the illegal activities ) 4.) Push for media coverage. 5.) Retain a law firm which is willing to cap legal fees based upon a settlement. 6.) Demand the termination of eBay's current upper management or don't settle. 7.) Demand policy changes at eBay that are destructive to small to mid-size sellers including changes that are legal. This is all in the negotiation. To date the above has not been coordinated effectively by any one eBay group / message board or website for a variety of reasons.
