Decisions about my Job
When I got my current job, I was told that it was a magnificent opportunity. I have been
here for a year now, and it hasn't been the great opportunity I was lead to believe. It is
a good job, but not one that can turn into a great one. I am still getting paid the same,
no benefits and haven't added much to my resume besides working with Quickbooks and a few
other things.
My mom tells me that I should speak up and ask for more. I don't really see myself
enjoying this job if I advance. It's not what I thought it was going to be at all. So, I
guess it's time to get off of my ass and find something better, or something that can
actually get better. Even my sister's mother-in-law is getting paid more than me! And I
graduated from college before her! T_T depressing...
