What does He want?

So I was sitting here at home on my day off studying the book of Romans partly for personal refelction and meditation and partly for preparing for Pre-Missions Training for our teenagers that will be taking part in summer missions this year. In the process I came across a verse that I have read SO MANY TIMES and yet it hit me in a profound different way!
Romans 12:1 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."
God's desire is not my voice and how I use it as to how many teens I reach this year for Christ, how big of a youth program we have, how many teens rededicated their lives...etc. Those things are very important to Him and He rejoices over them, but God's will for my life is...that I offer my body as a living sacrafice to Him, that I don't conform to this world, and that my mind will be transformed. Then I will be able to better discern His will for my life. It is such a simple truth and yet so profound when we truly silently reflect on it and contemplate what that means! How am I doing with that?
