Flexitarianism

I have absolutely nothing to talk about, since I just wrote 4 hours ago. Work was pretty typical, so that's not even of interest. It went by really fast. I like to keep myself busy. Who would have thought working while you're at work actually makes the time fly? Novel concept...

So, I've actually been batting an idea back and forth for the past couple of days. Vegetarianism. I used to be vegetarian years ago (vegan even, for a little while). Nowadays I'm what you'd call a flexitarian (mainly vegetarian with the occasional meaty splurge). Mostly fish, shrimp and the occasional chicken breast). A friend of mine started a blog chronicling her adventures into veganism (she just started the vegan lifestyle in January). I know vegan isn't the way to go for me (I like cheese and eggs. I see no need to give them up), but since I eat so little meat as it is, vegetarianism isn't much of a stretch. Then, I also considered just leaving myself alone. I eat a very healthy diet. I don't do much red meat (the very, very occasional steak would be about it). I'm not particularly emotional about animals and all that (I like them, but not enough to boycott meat-eating). Flexitarianism is good enough, I think.

Okay, glad I had that little conversation with myself :)
