Power Through The Pain

Goodness gracious, I'm so sore I can barely move. Zumba, gardening, life. I'm seriously thinking about taking some Ibuprofen. I love the feeling of a workout well done, but when every little movement hurts it can get rather annoying. I hate pills, though. If they made Ibuprofen in gummy form (like my vitamins) I might not mind taking it when the need arises :)

Keeny didn't have therapy today (teacher training or something of that nature), so it felt like I had an actual day off! Of course, I went to the gym. I tried my best to power through the pain, but it wasn't happening. So, I focused my workout from the waist up. Abs and arms. I did spend 45 minutes on the stationary bike, but that was mainly because I became engrossed in an UsWeekly someone had left behind. The resistance was way down, though. 8 instead of 12-15 where I usually have it. It still felt great doing something.

I dropped off the strawberry plants this afternoon. Three to Gen and two to Lacey. I hope they grow well for them. I know mine are looking a little sad. I hope they recover from their move and new location (although it's not that different from where they used to be).

Tomorrow, I have my interview with Jose (director of the Haselwood YMCA). He called this evening and asked if I was available tomorrow afternoon and it just so happens, I am! I'm not going to lie and say I'm not nervous, but I'm not as nervous as I thought I'd be. I'm cautiously optimistic :) I know I'm a good fit for the position, I just hope he can see past my lack of professional experience (I only have personal experience). Someone has to let me start somewhere right? I hope it goes well, because later in the afternoon I've got the staff appreciation party to go to. If my interview sucked I'm not going to feel like putting on a happy face. So, wish me luck!
