My Life Thus Far
Just To Say I Did It
I wish I could say I slept great last night, but I didn't really. Sometime in the night Keenan crawled into bed with us, so I was sandwiched between a kicking snoring husband and a kicking snoring toddler. Awesome. Snookums got up with the kids around 7am and I stayed in bed until 11am, which made me feel like a total lazy-ass. Everyone needs some lazy-time, yet for some reason I feel like I'm never allowed to EVER be lazy. I must go, go, go at all times!
Stupid me, I totally forgot that Easter is coming up next weekend! I'd meant to order the kids' outfits online, but to get them here in time for the Holly Ridge Easter Party on Saturday I'd have to pay a butt-ton for shipping. I'm too frugal to do that, so I decided to go shopping before I hit the gym. I went to Gymboree and Target, but neither of them had anything good. I need to go to Old Navy, but it was already getting late and I wanted to get a good workout in. I'll hit up Old Navy probably on Tuesday while Keenan is at therapy.
I had a great workout today, but every workout is great :) I was brave enough to step on the scale in the locker room afterwards and I've lost yet another pound! Two pounds in two weeks isn't ground-breaking, but I'll take it. I'm not even trying. I'm just living healthy and my body is doing the rest. It would be nice to lose exactly 100 pounds, though. Just to say I did it :)
I can't believe how nervous I felt while doing it, but I did it. I filled out the online application for the Haselwood YMCA Health Coach position... only I'm not sure it got submitted. I hit the "submit" button three times, but it never confirmed that it actually submitted :( I hope it did, because I really don't feel like doing it again. I'll let the director know the next time I see her. I've got time on my side, the Haselwood Y doesn't open for another couple months. I've got experience and my mandatory training is already done. I drove past the construction site on Friday and I can't believe how big it is! The location used to be a vacant lot and it didn't seem that big as an overgrown field, but it's huge! I'm excited to be a part of it. I'd planned on staying at the Bremerton Y because I've been going there for over two years, but if I can have both, that would be even better :)
I need to stop writing (right now, not forever). I've either developed minor tendonitis or mild carpel tunnel, but my wrist is bothering me. I think I forgot to mention, but April 19th of last year I had surgery on my right wrist. I had a ganglion cyst removed. Well, now my left wrist is sending shooting sparks of pain up my arm. I hope it passes, because I don't feel like dealing with a physical ailment. Especially since I've been feeling totally awesome lately! This too shall pass...
