My Life Thus Far

What I'm Capable Of

I salvaged this day in an epic way... Okay, today was far from epic, but it did end up being pretty great. Especially since at 1pm I was still in my pajamas, sitting in bed, playing repeated games of Bubble Town on MSN games. Keenan came in around 1:30pm ready to take a nap, so he snuggled down into my side and the odds of me getting up to do anything productive got even slimmer. Sadly (or fortunately, however you'd prefer to look at it), the laptop's battery got drained by my multiple attempts at beating my personal high score. I got up to put it on the charger (located in the kitchen).

I was about to get back in bed when I tripped over the pile of clothes/shoes/Victoria's Secret bags/shoe boxes and other items that had spilt out of my overflowing closet and taken over the floorspace between the bed and closet. I've been avoiding it for too long. What caused it to happen was lack of closet space. I realized that the reason I didn't have enough closet space was because I have too big clothes in there taking up valuable real estate! So, I got on it... two hours later all of the size 10 and size 12 clothes were bagged up and out of there, which gave me space to hang up the clothes that do fit and had taken up residence on the floor by my bed. Problem solved! I even went so far as to go through my bras and panties. I got rid of all the too big bras, old/too big/unwanted panties and raggedy sports bras, too. THEN (as if that wasn't enough), I cleaned out my shoe organizer under the bed. I spring cleaned my wardrobe :)

After doing all that, I was totally energized! Sunday's are generally a rest day. Or I'll only go for a run around the neighborhood, but it's been torrentially raining all day, so I decided to hit the gym. Keenan's demanding therapy schedule doesn't allow me to have very many long workouts, so I have to get a couple in here and there throughout the week, usually on the weekend. I lifted for an hour, ran a couple miles, did 20 minutes on the Arc-Trainer, 20 minutes on the StairMaster and 20 minutes on the stationary bike. And since I was on a "20" theme, I did 20 push-ups. I "like" a page on Facebook called I See Fit People and they've got a push-up challenge going on. Every day I have to do as many push-ups as I can. April 1st-30th. I only did 8 on the 1st. I can't wait to see what I'm capable of on the 30th!

I ate a cup of pineapple and now my tongue hurts :( Random...
