Sizdeh bedar

Dear diary,

Today's sizdeh bedar, the last day of Nowruz holidays. As you might have noticed, our holidays last for 13 days and the very last day is so called Sizdeh bedar. Since the number 13 is a sign of bad omen in most cultures, we try to keep away from bad luck by going outdoors. In this particular day, families mostly spend their times in the parks, gardens and countryside where you find greenery and stuff. As a tradition, everyone ties two pieces of grass together and make a wish. Usually girls wish to find their suitable husbands and have a shining future. Ha ha, but true. Last year, we were in my aunt house in the North. But now we're home alone. I so hate this day. We rarely go anywhere. Just stay home, home ,and homeeeeeeeeeeee.

P.S: I have been feeling so empty lately.
