My dream ...

Dear diary,

I have just received a call from one of my long-life friends, Mrs.
Arrbbi saying her daughter was studying for a PHD in Germany. "wow! I
am so happy to hear that," I told her over the phone. "She really
deserved it." To me, she was an intelligent young girl, and I was
indeed glad for her. But since we hung up, I have kept thinking that
will I ever be able to go for a PHD in English? Honestly, it has been
my dream for ages, and I am doing my best to make that come true.

Mrs. Arrbbi and I have remained good, close friends since we took
English courses long, long time ago. Although she was way older than
me, we used to walk home and hang out a lot. At first, I got teased by
other pals saying she was going to propose marriage to me on behalf of
her son and blah, blah, blah. They knew that I was sensitive about
these matters, and I would end my contact sooner or later. But then I
realized that why should I care? "She is a well-educated,
knowledgeable lady and I enjoy her company," I thought. Therefore, I
decided not to let things get into me and even encouraged others to
show more respect for her. Later, it turned out that she had no son,
but a daughter. More surprisingly, others began making friends with
her one at the time. ha-ha!

P.S: I am going to make a wish tonight about my future. This star (*)
here's to you who are reading my post and catch no star in the sky.

Star light, Star bright/ first star I see tonight/ I wish I may, I
wish I might/ have the wish I wish tonight.

Time: 10:10 at night.
