MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND

The big weekend turned out quite well. Mary Anne &
Bridget, Uncle Frankie, Fran & Lisa all showed up Saturday
afternoon & we ate at around 5:00. Steve was working,
Michael had school & Sam was busy with soccer in music.
Bridget took a lot of pictures & I hope she'll be willing
to send me some so I can use them as my profile pictures.
As always we ate ham, salads, olives & all sorts of other
things, including dessert. I've been eating entirely too
much lately anyway & the extra food this weekend most
certainly didn't help. I want to go on a diet for a
while. Because we stayed up all night on Saturday
watching old movies, including Clark Gable's "Mutiny On
the Bounty", I couldn't help getting some calla lilies for
my mother when I went out for the paper yesterday. Fr.
Walsh isn't available for Mass this week so I shall be
going to St. John's over in Pittston every morning. As
always lately I'm still reading those Carmelite books.
