A "Risky" Christmas

My son-in-law has wanted to play the board game Risk ever
since he got here. Unfortunately, we don't have it and no
one I asked had it either. I even went so far as to call a
friend of mine who lives a few miles away and ask him if
he had it. When he said yes, my son-in-law, youngest son
and I got excited and piled in the car to go pick it up.
When we got there he told us that, unknowing to him, his
son had taken it to college. So, we came home disappointed
and empty handed.

But we got to play yesterday because both my son and son-
in-law got the game for Christmas. They both got a
different version of the game. Joshua received the
traditional version and Casey received the Transformer
version. Even though we opened the Christmas presents in
the morning and had dinner at my mom's house yesterday
afternoon, we still managed to play both games. Anyone who
has played Risk knows that it isn't exactly a short game
to play, but we had a lot of fun.
