My Life Thus Far
I'm Ecstatic!
*****
It's great having Snookums home :) I don't think I've ever
been more happy to have him home than I am now. I don't
understand what makes this time so much different from all
the other times, but somehow it is. I'm ecstatic!
After spending the afternoon with the kids, Snookie and I
left the kids with Amy about an hour before bedtime and
went out for a very special welcome home date. We went to
a swanky dinner at the Cedar Steakhouse, "christened" the
back seat of the RAV (I'm not elaborating on that) and
then saw Twilight (which was a great movie! Much better
than I thought it would be). Every 15 year old girl in
Kitsap county had to have been at that movie. It made me
feel old. We got home around 1am and promptly locked
ourselves in our bedroom for "round two" (as Snookums put
it). I don't think we went to bed until at least 4am :) If
I could make that smiley face any bigger I would. Every
muscle in my body is sore... It feels good.
Today was a laid back kind of day. The family went out for
Chinese food and we stopped at Petsmart to get Finias (our
goldfish) a new aquarium. Gravel got lodged in the pump
and it wasn't filtering right, causing algae to grow on
the sides. He didn't mind it (he was eating it, in fact),
but I thought it was gross. We got a new tank that has LED
lights under it and glows all kinds of pretty colors. It's
pretty neat. Kiki thinks it's amazing.
I don't want to be on here too long. Snookums isn't going
to be home long and I really want to spend as much time as
I can with him. That and Keenan is hungry. Ciao!
