My Life Thus Far
I Should Do Some Crunches
Snookums has duty, my day is dragging on, so I thought I'd
come write a little. I love my diary. Speaking of which, I
got some feedback last night on my "Back to Vegetarianism"
entry. The person that left the comment didn't leave a
valid e-mail address. Which isn't a big deal. I often
worry about giving out my primary e-mail address when I
give feedback, too. That's where a separate yahoo (hotmail
or google, whichever you prefer) account comes in very
handy. Speaking of which, I should go check that. Anyway,
I like responding to all the feedback I get, so in the
event that that person reads this, here is my response to
you:
I have a Chi straightener, which was worth every penny I
paid for it and works great, but I still don't like
straightening my hair. It's time consuming and I feel like
I have to fuss with it all day. Not to mention when it
rains it gets frizzy and kind of nasty-looking. It's more
work than pleasure. I have embraced my curly hair. It
suits me. I keep it pulled back in a tight bun 90% of the
time, anyway. I was just using the Kyoseki infomercial as
an example of the crap I was watching while staying up all
night. There's never anything good on at 3am :)
Flintstones vitamins are great. I took them as a kid. My
children take Gummi vitamins. They prefer the chewy gummi
bear to the chalky texture of the Flintstones vitamins. As
for me, I'm still taking prenatal vitamins (because I'm
nursing) and iron supplements. The problem with that is, I
get severely constipated and have to take a stool softener
(too much information, sorry). The naturally occurring
iron in dark leafy vegetables is more soluble for me. Meat
constipates me, too. So, being vegetarian works well for
my body on so many levels.
Yes, Boca lasagna is very good. So good in fact, my very
carnivorous husband asked me to make a homemade version
for him (using veggie crumbles instead of beef). He's
trying to lose weight for his health.
Thanks for reading and take care!
Other than that, I have nothing to say. Annie is outside
playing, the little ones are asleep. I have down time and
nothing I want to fill it with. I suppose I could clean,
but my house is always clean. I feel silly fussing with
stuff that doesn't need to be fussed with. Maybe I'll
paint my toenails or crochet. I don't feel like doing
either. I suppose I'll play on the computer for a little
bit, read my book and then wait for Keenan to get up for
his next feeding. Kiki will probably sleep for another
hour or two. I'm really lucky to have such mild-mannered
kids. I guess being bored beats being stressed out to the
point of insanity. Wow. That last sentence had a lot of B
words :) Hmmm... I should do some crunches. Ciao.
